TOGO promotion of inclusive and equitable education for all children in Africa.

The actors involved in the implementation of NORAD project "Inclusive Education in Sahel" analyze from 21 to 24 January 2019 in Lomé educational policies and international legal instruments.

This 3-days session aims at engaging advocacy actions for vulnerable children and especially children with disabilities.
It is recognized by all states that access to quality inclusive education is a fundamental right. Nevertheless, this fact many vulnerable and disabled children are still marginalized by the current educational systems.
To deal with these challenges and ensure inclusive and equitable education of disabled children , it is necessary to advocate jointly for governments to take and respect their commitment, said Mr. IDRISSA Maiga, President of the West African Federation of Disabled People (FOAAPH).
NORAD project "Inclusive Education in the Sahel" already implemented in Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger, is also supported by "Humanity and Inclusion", former name of "Handicap International".
