GAMBIA AMPUTEE ASSOCIATION HELD ANNUAL GENERAL CONGRESS
On the 12 july 2020, Gambia Amputee Association (GAA) held a congress at St. Theres School. The aims of the said congress according to the members of the Amputee Association is to discuss issues affecting the Amputees in The Gambia and think of reasonable solutions to those challenges.
The ultimate aim of the congress is also to structure the Association and amongst the important reasons is to change the old executive to new execution who shall democratically be voted in to office and serve for two terms depending on the choice of the members at the subsequent Annual General Congress. This is subject to every four years congress as provided by the constitution of the Association and that of the Extraordinary General Congress.
At this congress, at election held therein, the members of the Amputee Association were able to vote the following new executives with their respective portfolios ;

These eight persons above are the Executive Committee of the Gambia Amputee Association (GAA) According to its constitution, each executive member shall serve for the maxium of two terms, perhaps, subject to the amendment of same.
