Disabled and deprived children of SOS receive the Minister

SOS, a social development organization whose main targets are children without parental care or children at risk of losing parental care, SOS Children's Villages has been working in Benin since 1987 in strict respect for different religions and cultures. . it is in charge of several children spread over her three sites (Abomey-Calavi, Dassa-Zounmè and Natitingou).

It is also because of the social nature of the intervention of SOS children’s village in Benin that Mrs. Véronique TOGNIFODE MEWANOU, Minister of Social Affairs and Microfinance paid this Thursday July 23, 2020, a visit to the site of Abomey-Calavi.
She went to see the living conditions of the children and to welcome the efforts of the leaders of this organization for guaranteeing them a warm home and quality education to become the accomplished adults of tomorrow.
A guided tour inside the "village" allowed Minister TOGNIFODE to better soak up the various activities that take place there for the happiness and development of children.
She also visited, within the village, the houses that accommodate the 26 children barely saved last May by the Ministry, from a very difficult situation in a child reception and protection center in Cotonou.
Disabled people in vocational training on disabled professional integration project were visited by the Ministerial authority and took the opportunity to boost their morale and un order they undergo good training.
